Independence Parade -Ocean Grove

On July 5, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue participated in the annual Ocean Grove Independence Day Parade. Our message of "We Raise our Flag for Justice" was to remind parade goers of the ways justice shows up in our country. From the Rule of Law to inclusion and academic freedom, Jersey Shore Blue supports the ideals of the Constitution and America's founding fathers.

No Kings Day — Asbury Park and Toms River

On June 14, Jersey Shore Blue joined local communities in Asbury Park and Toms River to mark No Kings Day — a grassroots action rejecting authoritarianism and the cult of personality in American politics. Activists held signs reading “NO KINGS” and messages like “Make Orwell Fiction Again,” standing up for democracy, accountability, and truth in government.

Pride Parade -Asbury Park

On June 1, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue participated in the annual Asbury Park Pride Parade, standing in solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities and affirming the connection between queer liberation and democratic resistance. The event provided an opportunity for public visibility, allyship, and mobilization.

Visibility Brigade Memorial Day Message

On Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue’s Visibility Brigade marked the national day of remembrance with a symbolic display above a major New Jersey roadway. A banner reading “BRUCE IS RIGHT” was placed across a pedestrian overpass, referencing Bruce Springsteen’s iconic message: “We Take Care of Our Own.”

May Day Rally-Ocean County Mall

On May 1, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue and allied groups organized a powerful public rally at Ocean County Mall in Toms River, New Jersey, in observance of May Day — the international day of labor solidarity. The event brought together workers, veterans, educators, and community members to call out Rep. Chris Smith and resist policies that undermine working families.

Visibility Brigade

On May 1, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue’s Visibility Brigade returned to the roads and bridges of New Jersey with a clear message:
“DUE PROCESS FOR ALL.”
The action coincided with May Day, linking the principles of labor justice, civil rights, and constitutional protection under one unified call for fairness.

Rally at Congressman Chris Smith’s Office — Middletown

On April 30, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue organized a focused rally outside Congressman Chris Smith’s district office in Middletown, New Jersey, demanding that he oppose proposed federal cuts to essential public programs. The demonstration brought together parents, seniors, healthcare advocates, and local residents with a unified message: protect our communities, not political agendas.

Tesla Takedown Rally — Eatontown, NJ

On April 27, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue held a visible and spirited Tesla Takedown Rally outside the Tesla dealership in Eatontown, New Jersey, continuing its campaign to expose the political alliance between Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and far-right agendas. The action was designed to confront billionaire influence on democracy and resist normalization of authoritarian leadership.

On April 22, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue’s Visibility Brigade took to the bridges of New Jersey with a direct and urgent message:
“STOP THE CUTS.”
The banner was displayed on a high-visibility pedestrian overpass, calling attention to proposed rollbacks to essential public programs.

Hands Off! Rally — Red Bank, NJ

On April 5, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue led a public demonstration in Red Bank, New Jersey, as part of the national Hands Off! Day of Action — a mass mobilization against threats to democracy, social programs, and civil rights. Participants gathered to reject extremism, corporate greed, and political indifference.

Hands Off! Rally — New York City

On April 5, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue joined thousands of demonstrators at the Hands Off! Rally in New York City, part of a coordinated nationwide mobilization to protect democracy, civil rights, and public programs. The march moved through Midtown Manhattan, delivering a strong message against authoritarianism, budget cuts, and political regression.

Hands Off! Rally — Trenton, NJ

On April 5, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue joined fellow New Jersey activists at the New Jersey State Capitol in Trenton for a local action as part of the national Hands Off! Day of Action. The event emphasized visible resistance to authoritarianism, economic injustice, and corporate dominance in governance.

On March 29, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue launched its Tesla Takedown campaign with a high-visibility protest outside the Tesla dealership in Eatontown, New Jersey. This marked the beginning of a broader grassroots push to challenge the political influence of billionaire elites — particularly Elon Musk, whose alignment with far-right ideologies and support of Donald Trump has drawn increasing concern from pro-democracy groups nationwide.

This grassroots protest called attention to Elon Musk’s increasing political power, and the movement’s broader concern with billionaire overreach and the privatization of public interest.

On March 22, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue, in collaboration with local constituents and advocacy groups, organized an Empty Seat Town Hall for New Jersey’s 4th Congressional District, highlighting the continued absence and lack of public accountability from Rep. Chris Smith.

This event was not symbolic — it was functional. Real questions were asked. Real solutions were discussed. Only the elected official was missing.

Jersey Shore Blue joined forces with activists from Indivisible 50501 in Trenton, New Jersey, for a coordinated day of civic visibility and resistance. The gathering reflected solidarity across key democratic issues — from voting rights and judicial accountability to international support for Ukraine.

In early 2025, members of Jersey Shore Blue met directly with Congressman Frank Pallone to advocate for legislative transparency, public investment, and the protection of democratic institutions. The in-person discussion was accompanied by a peaceful rally and letter delivery outlining the group’s policy priorities.
