Visibility Brigade
On May 1, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue’s Visibility Brigade returned to the roads and bridges of New Jersey with a clear message:
“DUE PROCESS FOR ALL.”
The action coincided with May Day, linking the principles of labor justice, civil rights, and constitutional protection under one unified call for fairness.
Purpose of the Action
Defend the principle of due process for all individuals, regardless of status
Draw attention to political efforts aimed at undermining legal protections
Show visible solidarity with marginalized groups, including immigrants and protestors
Connect labor rights and civil liberties under a shared framework of justice
What Happened
Activists installed a banner across a pedestrian bridge in a high-traffic area. Flanked by U.S. and Ukrainian flags, the display served as both a domestic call for constitutional rights and a global gesture of democratic alignment. Volunteers remained on-site to ensure peaceful execution and public engagement throughout the day.
Community Response
Drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians responded with gestures of support. Social media posts captured the display and sparked conversations about the erosion of legal protections and the need for broad-based civic defense.
