No Kings 2-Red Bank
On October 18, 2025, JSB held a No Kings 2 Rally to provide our community with an opportunity to express their feelings about Donald Trump.
Their placards read-"We Love America because We have No Kings" and "Felons Should Not be President".
Purpose of the Action
Highlight the reasons for our dissatisfaction with the Trump administration
Let our voices be heard alongside over 3500 of our neighbors to demonstrate that we refuse to be bullied or silenced.
Inspire community members to support candidates who uphold democratic values
What Happened
Our peaceful community demonstration was among over 2700 across the United States and globally, aimed at informing the Trump administration that we will not accept a president who claims powers he is not entitled to. The message was also directed at members of Congress who must fulfill their responsibilities and hold DJT accountable. Participants gathered along the Route 35 bridge from Middletown to Red Bank and spilled onto the streets. The vibe was friendly and supportive among attendees.
Community Response
The cheering and honking from passing drivers were sometimes overwhelming. The atmosphere was festive as both participants and onlookers experienced a strong sense of unity. We garnered positive media attention both locally and as far away as Ireland.
Why It Matters
At this point in our nation's journey, we must embrace the following saying: "When Injustice becomes Law, Resistance becomes Duty". Events like No Kings 2 demonstrate to those in power that it is actually the citizens who hold the true authority.
