Take a break to spend an hour with patriots who think like you! This is an event scheduled especially to give locals the opportunity to resist and protest peaceably and very visibly. All are welcome, even if you are not a local. When enough of us say “NO,” it will stop.

June 25, 2026: In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court ruled that the Trump administration can cancel Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians and Syrians, saying that courts cannot override the federal government’s TPS determinations and rejecting plaintiffs’ claims that the decision was motivated by racial bias. The ruling puts all 1.3 million TPS holders from more than a dozen countries at risk of deportation, with work permits expiring immediately.
April 17, 2026: The House has passed H.R. 1689 by a 224-204 vote to extend TPS protection for Haitian migrants through 2029. Ten Republicans joined Democrats to support the measure. The bill now goes to the Senate.
The Trump administration has been pushing to end TPS, or Temporary Protected Status, for nearly 350,000 Haitians in the U.S., claiming conditions in Haiti have improved. Most recently, TPS for Haitians was set to end on Feb. 3, but a judge blocked the end of protections. Haitians were first granted TPS in 2010 due to an earthquake that killed more than 300,000 and displaced 1.5 million more, and the protections have been extended multiple times due to continued dangerous conditions in their home country.
These Haitian individuals and families fled their homes because of danger, widespread gang violence, and unrest. They entered our country legally under the Temporary Protected Status designation. Haitians contribute to our communities, pay taxes, and work in important job sectors such as healthcare, yet they’ve been unfairly demonized by the Trump administration, including in 2024 when JD Vance and Donald Trump repeatedly spread lies that Haitians ate pets even after the story was proven to be false.
Despite what the administration claims, it is still too dangerous for these folks to return to Haiti. Call your representatives to support H.R. 1689 and extend Temporary Protected Status for Haitians until it is safe.

For nearly 27 years, the Supreme Court’s landmark 1999 decision in Olmstead v. L.C. has protected Americans with disabilities from being forced into institutional care and nursing homes against their will, affirming their right to live independently in their own communities. Last week, the Trump Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly released a memo undermining that decision and arguing that Olmstead and related disability rights laws actually contribute to homelessness. Legal experts say the claim is not supported by the facts or by virtually any court, and the DOJ’s own memo acknowledged that their interpretation is “out of step” with legal consensus.
While the memo itself does not change the law, it signals a dangerous shift in how the Trump administration intends to treat disability rights protections. Following its release, HHS quietly took down its webpage on Olmstead and community living. Without federal enforcement of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act—the laws that underpin Olmstead—states will no longer face consequences for institutionalizing disabled people against their will. This could allow states to effectively re-segregate people with disabilities, reversing decades of progress toward community integration. Combined with the administration’s sweeping Medicaid cuts, which are eliminating home and community-based services that allow disabled people to live independently, this could force millions of Americans back into the kind of institutional settings that Olmstead was designed to end.
Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) has introduced a resolution calling on the Trump administration to rescind the DOJ memo, reaffirm the protections of Olmstead, and reverse Medicaid cuts that are pushing disabled Americans toward institutionalization. Call your representatives in Congress to support this resolution, and urge your Governor to maintain full enforcement of the ADA and Rehabilitation Act in your state.

Ultimately she needs to get Delaney shut down. Also please ask her to help free the protestors who are still detained. I know she’s been doing her best, but it’s not good enough. She promised to fight for her constituents. She needs to do so.

The Trump administration has continually attacked immigrant communities across the country with aggressive ICE raids, abusive and inhumane detention facilities, and targeted attacks on cities and minority groups to create fear and silence opposition.
Detainees at ICE facilities have been subjected to inhumane conditions, abuse, and even CIA-style torture. 510 identifiable human rights violations have been reported, including sexual assault, medical negligence, and mistreatment of children and pregnant people. Detainees at Delaney Hall in Newark, a privately-run facility, are now on a hunger and labor strike in protest; congressional representatives and advocates were pepper sprayed while trying to investigate the conditions.
Children have been caught up in aggressive ICE raids, separated from their families, and detained in unsanitary detention centers where many have suffered from severe illnesses. ICE agents raided the Dilley detention camp in Texas to confiscate letters written by children detailing the horrific living conditions and abuse.
ICE agents have used indiscriminate violence against legal observers, peaceful protesters, and bystanders. In Minnesota, they murdered U.S. citizens Renee Nicole Good and Alex Jeffrey Pretti in broad daylight, while an off-duty ICE agent killed Keith Porter Jr. in Los Angeles. ICE leadership has dismissed these attacks as “self-defense” despite clear video evidence to the contrary, and the FBI has targeted the victims for investigation instead of the agents.
Trump has launched targeted attacks on Democratic-led cities — Los Angeles, Chicago, Charlotte, and New Orleans — and on specific immigrant populations, like the Somali community in Minnesota.
The Trump administration has paused green cards and citizenship applications for people from 19 countries and has canceled citizenship ceremonies for immigrants around the country.
Hundreds of U.S. citizens have been wrongfully detained and mistreated by federal agents, often as a result of racial profiling.
ICE is using a number of privacy-violating surveillance tools and facial recognition spyware to hack phones, monitor a person’s social media, and use databases to profile and track individuals. Federal and local law enforcement has also used Flock Safety’s license plate tracking data to surveil protestors and immigrants.
These increasingly grotesque, coercive, and illegal policies are glaring indicators of rising authoritarianism in America. Demand your representatives push back against these escalating attacks on human rights.
