Take a break to spend an hour with patriots who think like you! This is an event scheduled especially to give locals the opportunity to resist and protest peaceably and very visibly. All are welcome, even if you are not a local. When enough of us say “NO,” it will stop.

February 6, 2026: During the week of February 9th, the House is set to vote on a new version of the SAVE Act, titled the “SAVE America Act.” This bill maintains the language of the original SAVE Act and adds new requirements that voters present a proof of citizenship both when registering to vote and when casting a ballot, drastically increasing the difficulty for eligible voters. The bill still faces significant opposition in the Senate.

January 23, 2026: Despite the SAVE Act not having enough support in the Senate to pass, Trump, Elon Musk, and House Republicans are lobbying aggressively to further alter and pass the SAVE Act before midterm elections.

April 10, 2025: With a 220-208 vote, the House has passed H.R. 22 with Democrats Jared Golden (ME), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (WA), Henry Cuellar (TX) and Ed Case (HI) joining Republicans to vote in favor of the legislation. The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration.

Republicans in Congress have introduced the extreme anti-voter Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R. 22/S.128) and declared it among their top priorities. This bill would hinder millions of eligible Americans from registering to vote by requiring citizens to present a birth certificate or passport in person to register.

Millions of Americans don’t have easy access to these documents.

• More than 21.3 million Americans lack immediate access to documentary proof of citizenship.

• More than 140 million Americans do not have a passport, and elderly Americans are one of the demographic groups least likely to have one.

• 69 million women who have taken their spouse’s last name do not have a birth certificate that matches their legal name.

• Similarly, transgender people who change their name to reflect their gender identity may be denied new passports and become ineligible to register.

• Disabled people are already much more likely to encounter a difficulty while voting compared to a nondisabled voter; more stringent requirements will just make this worse.

• Citizens of color are three times more likely than white citizens to lack documents such as birth certificates, passports, naturalization certificates, or certificates of citizenship.

• An in-person registration requirement would prevent military members serving abroad from easily registering to vote.

Despite unfounded claims to the contrary, there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud. The SAVE Act is designed to block eligible people from voting, not to protect elections. Demand your representatives oppose the SAVE Act and protect voting rights for all.

On January 29th, 2026, House Republicans introduced yet another bill aimed at disenfranchising voters under the guise of preventing nonexistent election fraud. The Make Elections Great Again (MEGA) Act, like the previously House-passed SAVE Act, would impose a proof of citizenship requirement for voter registration and a photo ID requirement to vote. Tens of millions of Americans, particularly people with disabilities, younger people, and Black and Hispanic people, lack the necessary documentation to vote under these potential new requirements.

The bill would also supersede states’ constitutional authority to administer elections by imposing sweeping changes like forcing states to discard mail-in ballots received after polls close on election day, banning universal vote by mail systems, and prohibiting ranked choice voting in federal elections.

Despite Donald Trump’s obsessive claims to the contrary, election fraud in the United States is vanishingly rare. The direst threat to free and fair elections is Republicans’ deliberate attempts to undermine confidence in election integrity and block voter participation in midterm elections this fall. Congress must reject both the MEGA Act and misleading, false narratives about election interference.

January 30, 2026: Over a month after the legally mandated deadline to release case files, the DOJ has released another batch of investigative documents. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche claims that they have now released all required files and will not release any more. Congress must review the files and hold them accountable for violating the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

January 19, 2026: With less than 1% of the Epstein Files released, the DOJ continues to delay and obstruct the entire release of the files. Continue to demand their release as required by law.

December 21, 2025: After failing to meet the December 19th deadline for releasing the entirety of the Epstein files as required by the recently passed Epstein Files Transparency Act, House members Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) have threatened to draft inherent contempt charges against Attorney General Pam Bondi. If passed, inherent contempt charges would allow the House to bypass the courts and force Bondi to either release the files or face personal consequences such as imprisonment.

November 18, 2025: The House and Senate have both passed H.R. 4405 the Epstein Files Transparency Act. The House voted 427-1, and the Senate voted unanimously.

September 2, 2025: Representatives Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA) have filed a discharge petition to force a vote on H.R. 4405, the Epstein Files Transparency Act and release the entirety of the Epstein files. Discharge petitions are a special procedure that forces a floor vote on a bill if a simple majority of House members join the petition. In late July, Speaker Johnson (R-LA) sent the House home early for summer recess to avoid releasing the Epstein files via discharge petition.

In 2019, after years of evading the law, Jeffrey Epstein was convicted on federal child sex trafficking charges. Epstein was a wealthy financier with close ties to powerful people, including Donald Trump. Epstein and his associate Ghislaine Maxwell systematically groomed young girls to be raped and trafficked to their wealthy friends. Epstein died in his jail cell while awaiting sentencing. While the medical examiner concluded his death was a suicide, conspiracies around his death quickly arose, as did substantial public interest in the supposed “client list” identifying customers of Epstein’s trafficking operation. Donald Trump promised the release of the client list throughout his 2024 presidential campaign. Pam Bondi, his Attorney General, publicly claimed the list was sitting on her desk. However, on July 6th, Trump’s Department of Justice (DOJ) released a memo concluding that Epstein did not have a client list and declining to publicly release evidence.

The DOJ has since made weak promises to release grand jury testimonies and talk to Ghislaine Maxwell. However, the DOJ’s reversal of repeated promises of transparency, along with Trump’s aggressive campaign to suppress the story, have violated public trust. Trump’s DOJ already operates as a protection racket for Trump. Trump himself is an adjudicated rapist with a long history of offenses, including some alongside Epstein. The public deserves to know who was involved in this heinous crime ring. Urge your representatives to demand the full public release of the Epstein files

January 30, 2026: By a 71-29 vote, the Senate has passed the new funding package that includes a 2-week continuing resolution (CR) for DHS and fully funds the remainder of the government. The House is expected to vote on this package on Monday, February 2nd. Congress now has a new deadline of Friday, February 13th to pass a new DHS funding bill.

January 22, 2026: By a 220-207 vote, the House has passed H.R. 7147, the standalone DHS appropriations bill. Republican Rep. Massie (KY) voted No, while Democratic Reps Cuellar (TX), Golden (ME), Gillen (NY), Gluesenkamp Perez (WA), Davis (NC), Suozzi (NY), and Gonzalez (TX) voted Yes. The bill now goes to the Senate where a floor vote is expected the week of January 26th.

Following the federal funding deal passed in mid-November 2025, Congress faces another January 30th deadline to pass the remaining appropriations bills to fully fund the government for fiscal year (FY) 2026; this includes the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) appropriations bill.

Recent atrocities committed against both immigrants and citizens under the Trump administration have shone a light on abuses of power by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and its parent agency, Customs and Border Protection (CBP). However, these abuses are hardly new. Since ICE and CBP were established in 2003, the agencies have terrorized immigrant communities, conducted unconstitutional border checkpoints, torn apart families, denied immigrants their due process rights, and subjected detained immigrants to physical, sexual, and mental abuse. The killing of Renee Good in Minnesota was the 9th ICE shooting since September 2025.

ICE also received an influx of billions in additional funding from the so-called “One Big Beautiful” bill. The bill placed no guardrails or conditional oversight on the use of this money, essentially creating a $75 billion slush fund for ICE to continue their violent attacks on communities across the country.

Call on your representatives to block any DHS appropriations bill or Continuing Resolution (CR) that maintains funding for ICE. This lawless and violent agency must be defunded and dissolved for good.
